Streets of Rage 2 is a legendary beat’em up developed by Sega AM7 and published by Sega in 1992 for the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive. For many players, it’s not just a game — it’s a defining part of the 16-bit era. Even though I had a Sega Genesis as a kid, I actually discovered this game much later. I owned plenty of cartridges back then, but somehow Streets of Rage never made it into my collection. Looking back — that was a big miss.
