The player once again controls the hero Mario, seeking to rescue Princess Peach who was kidnapped by Bowser. Produced by Shigeru Miyamoto, Super Mario 64 was conceived during and after the production of Super Nintendo's Star Fox. The song was composed by the also veteran of the series Koji Kondo.
